also known as mkhas grub khyung po rnal 'byor or grub thob khyung po rnal 'byor. Dates for him are unclear and unlikely to ever be established beyond a doubt. Some sources have 978-1127 (which seems unlikely) others 1002-1064. Founder of the shangs pa bka' brgyud tradition [TSD]
