Domestic goats, Capra hircus, most likely descended from C. aegagrus which is from Central Asia (animaldiversity.org).

The 'wild goat', ra rgod, is a very general term. It includes a number of genera and species, like the Himalayan tahr, Hemitragus jemlahicus, living on the southern slopes of the Himalaya. According to the thangka image it might be a Goa, may be just a feral form of the domestic goat.
