Thirteen Incarnations of Gyalsey Lhaje. Gyalsey Lhaje Chokdrub Gyalpo was the son of Mutig Tsenpo and the immediate reincarnation of Trisong Deutsen. According to Jamgon Kongtrul's Great Biography of Khyentse Rinpoche, folios 6b-7a, his incarnations were:

  1. Sangye Lama,
  2. Gya Lotsa Dorje Zangpo,
  3. Nyima Senge,
  4. Kusa Menpa Pemakyab, alias Khutsa Da-O,
  5. Doben Gyatso-O and, simultaneously, Zur Paksi Shakya-O,
  6. Tragom Chokyi Dorje and, simultaneously, Khyung-nak Shakya-dar,
  7. Yarje Orgyen Lingpa,
  8. Tol Ngakchang Letro Lingpa,
  9. Nesar Khyentse Wangchuk and, simultaneously, Ngari Panchen,
  10. Ebacok Garwang Leytro Lingpa,
  11. Puwo Razhi Terton Pema Rigdzin, alias Pema Tsewang-Tsal,
  12. Orgyen Choje Lingpa Dewey Dorje-Tsal, and
  13. Khyentse Rinpoche, i.e. Pema Osel Do-nga Lingpa. GD
