1. Capsicum frutescens L. (Solanaceae) Wild chili pepper (Wangyal 2020)
2. Capsicum annuum L. (Solanaceae) Mild and hot peppers (Wangchuk 2011)
3. Plumbago zeylanica L. (Plumbaginaceae) Ceylan leadwort, Doctor bush (Dash 1989)
tsi tra ka is usually identified with chili peppers. Being of american origin, they were introduced in India not before the 16th century. The ayurvedic name citraka refers to Plumbago zeylanica, of which the root is used. The tibetan note of image 26_082 may refer to that. The fruits on image 35_006 don't correspond to a pepper. The Shel gong shel phreng speaks of 4 types of tsi tra ka. Several of the given synonyms refer again to Plumbago zeylanica according to Dash (1989).
