para-tīrthika¦, adj. or subst. m. (= tīrthika; not recorded in Pali, but cf. añña-titthiya, see anya-tīrthika s.v. tīrthika; occurs in Jain Skt., see ISt. 10.257), adhering to (adherent of) a heretical sect: °ka-niśritānāṃ LV 420.19 (vs; so read, see Crit.
