pula¦, nt., or pulā, f. (dual pule), designates some- thing given by Mahākātyāyana to a devatā as relic or keepsake, with the thought that these two articles were not to be worn or kept (na dhārayitavye) in Madhyadeśa, by Buddha's instructions: Divy 581.7.
