gter chen 'bar ba'i rdo rje (1836-1920), a close student of gter chen mchog gyur gling pa (1829-1870). His original seat was the Karma Kagyu monastery of Surmang. He had numerous Termas and was also influential in the preservation of the teachings of the Barom Kagyu school.
