Erik directs, with his wife Marcia Binder Schmidt, Rangjung Yeshe Translations & Publications (see also [1]) in Kathmandu. Other projects included this Dharma Dictionary, an ongoing, electronic publication, compiling an extensive glossary of Buddhist terminology to bridge the Tibetan and English languages.
Erik has been the assistant and translator for Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and his 4 sons since the late seventies. He and Marcia are both active in facilitating masters of the Practice Lineages to teach in the West.
