Karl Brunnhölzl is a physician and also studied Tibetology. He translates Tibetan Buddhist texts into English and German since 1988. Mainly trained in Buddhist philosophy and Tibetan language at Marpa Institute for Translators (Director: Khenpo Tsultrim Gyatso Rinpoche.
