Twelve main aspects (gtso bo bcu gnyis). They are also called 'the twelve manifestations']] (rnam 'phrul bcu gnyis). They are twelve different forms of Guru Rinpoche as a 'magical net of emanations to tame beings according to their needs.
- Inner cycle: 1. rgyal ba'i gdung 'dzin: east. 2. smra ba'i seng ge south: 3. skyes mchog tshul bzang: west. 4. bdud kyi gshed chen: north.
- Outer cycle: 5. 'dzam gling rgyan mchog: east. 6. padma 'byung gnas: south. 7. khyad par 'phags pa'i rig 'dzin: west. 8. rdzu 'phrul mthu chen: north.
