Jagchen Jampa Pal (1310-1391) was Jagpa Gyaltsen Bum's nephew and his lineage holder. He practised the Six Doctrines of Niguma extensively and performed many miracles. Thus many people came to see him in order to receive his blessings. Among his students was also the great Tsongkhapa, thus many Shangpa Kagyu teachings entered into the Gelugpa school where many of them are continued to the present day. Some of them have even found their way back into more "mainstream" Shangpa practice via this detour.
