The [[Yelpa Kagyu]] lineage (yel pa) was established by [[Drubthob Yeshe Tsegpa]] (drub thob ye shes brtsegs pa, b. 1134). He established two monasteries, Shar Yelphuk ([[shar yel phug]]) and Jang Tarna ([[byang rta rna dgon]]). Little else is known about this lineage nowadays. Many of their instructions are being continued by the Karma Kagyu school.
