*When the natal months are calculated, the hare, horse, bird and mouse, which represent the mid-seasonal months, are designated as irregularly numbered signs. Also, according to the Mottled Turtle ([[rus sbal khra mo]]) tradition, and the Gathering of All Precious Elements ([['byung ba rin chen kun 'dus]]), Zin is considered to be an irregularly numbered trigram.
