Short Biography

The 9th Gyalwang Drukpa Mipham Chokyi Gyatsho (1823-1883) , was extremely close to both the 14th Karmapa, Theckchok Dorje, and the 8th Pawo Rinpoche. He spent most of his life meditating in solitude. He was the second Gyalwang Drukpa to concoct the famous liberation pill called "Ja-Tsukma".
