At Shay-u Do, in the region of Do-Kham (East Tibet), the child born in the family of the supreme spiritual master Tulku Jigme Chokyi Nyima has been unmistakenly recognized as the second Dudjom Rinpoche, the reincarnation of the lord of the refuge Dudjom Rinpoche Jigdral Yeshe Dorje. Since many great individuals, non-sectarians who are well-known throughout the Ancient and New Schools, have unanimously confirmed the prophecies and signs, I am certain that it is true. Therefore, I, Sangye Dorje, the foolish, least worthy servant of the last incarnation of this master, have carelessly written this long life prayer in a few words related to the offering of a name. May this prove virtuous and pleasing!
