Natural salt medicine. The Shel gong states that rocksalt is of superiour quality, seasalt of intermediate quality and salt from saltlakes of inferiour quality. Rocksalt is vitreous with a colour range from colourless, whitish, yellow, red, purple to blue. Occurs both as evaporite deposits in saline lakes and watercourses, or as bedded sedimentary deposits, or as salt domes (mindat.org).
