Gangteng Sangngak Chöling Monastery is one of the most important monasteries in Bhutan and a center of the Pema Lingpa tradition. It was established by Gyalse Pema Thinley the first Gangteng Tulku who was considered to be the combined body and activity emanation of Terton Pema Lingpa.
