dGa' ba'i rDo rje (1998) does not mention chu chung ni la, and the Aquamarine is described under the name n+'i la ma ra ka ti in the Beryl group (ma rgad). In 2018 he pictures Aquamarine as chu chung ni la.
Aquamarine is a sky-blue to sea-green variety of Beryl, ma rgad (mindat.org)
If it were Agate, as proposed by Yeshi (2018), it had to be a similar type as described under chu snying.
