The system known as the A-ro Lugs (A-ro tradition) was first initiated in Tibet by both Vairocana and Nyak Jnanakumara. They actually compiled instructions from Sems-sde texts into a coherent system. Then the "actual" founder of the Aro lineage was Aro Yeshe Jungne.

The system known as the A-ro Lugs (A-ro tradition) was first initiated in Tibet by both Vairocana and Nyak Jnanakumara. They actually compiled instructions from Sems-sde texts into a coherent system. Then the "actual" founder of the Aro lineage was Aro Yeshe Jungne.
