Short description

Ken McLeod started his study and practice with Kalu Rinpoche at Sonada, Darjeeling, India in 1970. He helped establish Kalu Rinpoche's center in Vancouver, the first such center in North America. He also translated for Rinpoche on his first two North American tours. In 1976, Ken entered the first of two three-year retreats. Upon completion, Kalu Rinpoche authorized him to teach and assigned him to the Los Angeles center. After Rinpoche's passing, Ken founded Unfettered Mind and has been the principal teacher there since 1991.
