Kham (khams)
- Independent kingdoms east of Chamdo, including Nangchen, Derge, Amdo and Golok; presently occupies parts of the TAR (Tibetan Autonomous Region), Yunnan, Qinghai and Sichuan provinces. It is known as eastern Tibet among non-Tibetans. [RY]
