Hi KT... Well, I think that shedra has the inference of 'institute' and 'practice center' pretty well wrapped up, so if all agree, perhaps we can dub Drubdra with the 'retreat center' def.? Ideas from others?

heh, actually. I was commenting on Tybd's topic. he forgets to sign his comments. [KT] 01:07, 6 October 2007 (EDT)

By the way Tshering, you can now use the shorter form KT to indicate your contributions. If that's not alright for you, please let me know and we'll undo it...but you can still use the long form too. (just a heads-up...) (RWB)

oh...well, if Tybd would provide some identifying info., we might also get that abbreviation 'in blue' as well? ...Tybd? This allows for 'frequent' contributors to communicate a bit more personally, like this. Btw KT, I totally agree with your sentiments re: Erik and our other translator/author/teachers and lamas who are contributing and providing their precious guidance to both our secular and spiritual lives. --Richard 01:25, 6 October 2007 (EDT) (RWB)

I would suggest something other than "practice center" as a translation, something that spells it out a bit more. Many Buddhist centers in the West would colloquially be referred to as practice centers, but they wouldn't be called sgrub grva-s, which seems only to refer to three-year retreat centers. Tybd
