Eight Maya Sections (sgyu 'phrul sde brgyad).

  1. The Essence of Secrets,
  2. the Forty Magical Nets,
  3. the Unsurpassable Magical Net,
  4. the Leulag Magical Net,
  5. the Eightfold Magical Net,
  6. the Magical Net of the Goddess,
  7. the Eighty Magical Nets,
  8. and the Magical Net of Manjushri.

In his Essence of Accomplishment (p. 6A:4), Mipham Rinpoche explains that the view in the Eight Maya Sections belong to Ati Yoga while the conduct they teach belong to Maha Yoga. For that reason they are sometimes said to be classified in between as Anu Yoga tantras. In any case, they reveal the key points of the development stage, the completion stage, and the Great Perfection and can therefore be classified under any of the three inner tantras.
