atharvaṇa¦, nt., Atharvanic practices, sorcery, black magic: Divy 629.16 (mss.; ed. em. āth°). Pali (Sn 927) has v.l. athabbaṇa for edd. āth°; Skt. has atharvaṇa also but apparently not in precisely this sense.
