English Definition [kṛtayuga]/ The perfect aeon; the excellent aeon. According to the Abhidharma tradition, it is explained that after the origination of human beings in this universe for a long period the system of private ownership did not exist and the people were perfectly pure in their moral conduct committing no non-virtues, i.e. they upheld all of the ten virtuous activities. This period is known as the perfected aeon and is said to be equivalent to one million seven hundred and twenty-eight thousand human years.
