[paṇḍitālaṁbana]/ The object of the wise ones. One of the four objects of calm-abiding ([ṡamatha]) meditation (see {rnal 'byor gyi dmigs pa bzhi}). One who has the wisdom to judge his or her objects of meditation with respect to the aggregates, the spheres, the sources of perception, the links of dependent\narising, and those that are and are not suitable to be taken as the object for developing calm abiding meditation.
