(med) Harriers, Hawks
khra is a generic name in the falcon-like order for falcons or Hawks, Kestrels, Merlins, Harriers etc., with few specific names, like ne le for Upland Buzzard. The images do not allow to identify distinct species (David Holler, Tibetbirds.com).

Synonym : ri bong za ('Jam-dpal), rgya khra ? ('Phrin Las)

'Jam-dpal describes the bya khra as smaller than ne le (Upland buzzard), and byi'u khra as smaller than bya khra.
