• To calculate the natal numeric square, which has importnce for natal horoscope and marriage divinations, the numeric square of the present year should be placed at the centre of the chart, and one should then count back the subject's age in tens, following the so-called zigzagging bird-like sequence of calculation, and then finally subtract any integers less than ten individually. Alternatively, the number corresponding to the subject's present age should be placed at the centre of the chart along with the numeric square of the present year and one should then count forwards into the next sexagenary cycle.
