Short Biography
- This Lama seems to the reincarnation of the Siddha Namgyal Lhundrup of Petsel Ling Gonpa in Bumthang, Bhutan. I am still trying to make sure for myself that they are in fact the same, but I am reserving certainty for myself that Getse Jigme Ngotsar is indeed Tulku Jigme Tenpe Gyaltsen of Petsel Ling, until after I learning the meaning of and significance in the title/name "Getse". Based on the help of Urgyen Lhundrup of Petsel Ling, and the namthar he has share with me of the Siddha Namgyal Lhundrup, I feel its likely they are one in the sam. However our great Rigdzin, Terchen Jigme Lingpa, left for the Pure Lands, when the young Petseling Tulku was only 15 years old. Thus how does that make him such a close student as to warrant the honorific title of 'Thukse' (Heart-son)? Also the information I have been kindly offered by Petseling Gonpa and Urgyen Lhundrup does not have the name "Ngotsar" anywhere, which is the only title/name given in our different lineage histories born of Tibetan authors, and also they have given me the alternative name of Nagchen Jigme Tenpe Gyaltsen which also I have yet to place the name "Nagchen", having not see the Tibetan/Dzongkha spelling its hard for me to understand at this point.BL
