-lāpika
Entry 12984, Page 462, Col. 1
<k1>lApika<k2>-lApika
-lāpika¦, adj. (= Skt. -lāpin plus -ka), talking, in manuṣya-lāpiko śuko Mv i.271.13 (prose), a parrot talking in human speech; so mss.; Senart °ṣyālāpiko, because of the parallel °ṣyālāpino (Skt. ālāpin) i.274.3, which perhaps justifies the em.; yet Skt. has -lāpin.
