DharmaDictionary.net aims to be:[edit]

  • a dictionary of current usage for translators & Translation groups
  • a compilation site for past dictionaries and glossaries between Tibetan and English
  • a lotsawa website of Resources and Translation-tools
  • a place to include glossaries of new translation works
  • as non-sectarian and open-minded as possible
  • available on the Internet for free use by everyone
  • dynamic and growing, rather than static and stagnant
  • a Record of the teachers and translators involved in bringing the Dharma into the English language
  • a lotsawa-network
  • a database of translations of major and minor texts
