Skull-drum (ḍā ma ru)

  • A hand-held skull drum, frequently identified with the wrathful deities and the ḍākinī, and generally utilised as a ritual instrument in conjunction with the bell. GD (from the Glossary to Tibetan Elemental Divination Paintings)
