Short description
The Yelpa Kagyu lineage (yel pa) was established by Drubthob Yeshe Tsegpa (drub thob ye shes brtsegs pa, b. 1134). He established two monasteries, Shar Yelphuk (shar yel phug) and Jang Tarna (byang rta rna dgon). Little else is known about this lineage nowadays. Many of their instructions are being continued by the Karma Kagyu school.
