1. Drosera peltata Thunb. (Droseraceae) Sundew (Dawa 1999, Wangchuk 2016)
2. Drosera lunata Buch.-Ham. ex DC. (Droseraceae) Sundew (Wangchuk 2008)

The Shel gong gives rtag ngu as synonym for 'od ldan (identified with Saxifraga spp). The same notice gives rise to an identification of rtag ngu with a Drosera sp (Dawa 1999, Wangchuk). In (Dawa 2009) basically the same text is taken, but here rtag ngu is synonym for 'od ldan and identified with Saxifraga species, like in the Shel gong. 'Jam-dpal's image in the Eye Ornament is closer to Saxifrages. rtag ngu, 'always weeping' : Drosera species have sticky nectar drops on their leaves, like dew. They are part of the trap mechanism of these carnivorous plants.
