ādhāvana¦ (nt.; Pali id.), in comp. with following paridhāvana, running around, to and fro, this way and that: Śikṣ 268.(12--)13 lābhahetor lābhanidānam ādhāvana- paridhāvanaṃ dauḥśīlyasamudācaraṇaṃ ca. (In Pali the verbs ādhāvati and paridhāvati are frequently used to- gether in this sense.)
