Cross breed of Gaur or Indian bison (Bos frontalis) and Domestic cow (Bos taurus). The range of the Gaur is from Nepal and India to the Malay Peninsula, inhabiting forested hills at elevations up to 1800 meters. Length of the body and head is up to 3.3 m, shoulder height up to 2,2 m. A characteristic hump of raised muscle can be seen over the shoulders (animaldiversity.org). See also ma he.
