1. Ceratostigma minus Stapf ex Prain (Plumbaginaceae) Leadwort, Plumbago (Wangyal 2020)
'The plant Shing skyu-ru-ma is identified according to the system advocated by the scholar Bya-po Panchen.' Lhasa sman-rtsis-khang also identifies it as Shing-skyu-ru-ma during the identification of medicinal herbs. But no authentic account of this herb is found so far due to rarity of the texts (Dawa 1999)
2. Limonium flexuosum (L.) Chaz. (Plumbaginaceae) Statice (Molvray 1988 G). Cited from northern sources.
3. Goniolimon speciosum (L. ) Boiss. (Plumbaginaceae) Statice, Sea lavender (Molvray 1988 G). Cited from northern sources.
4. Celosia argentea L. (Amaranthaceae) Plumed cock's comb (Molvray 1988 G,H,P). Synonyms : kadma b.hara, me tog bya ze (Molvray 1988)
5. Impatiens glandulifera Royle (Balsaminaceae) Balsam, Touch-me-not (Molvray 1988 H). Cited from northern sources.
6. Impatiens sulcata Wall. (Balsaminaceae) Balsam, Touch-me-not (Wangyal 2020). Reported name kan da bha ra.
7. Impatiens laxiflora Edgew. (Balsaminaceae) Balsam, Touch-me-not (Wangchuk 2016). Reported name byi'u star ga (star ga is the name for Walnut).

Despite the lack of textual description, Ven. Khenrab Norbu distinguishes between superior and inferior types, the latter with papilianecous flowers (see Lathyrus oleraceus) (Dawa 2009).
Apart from Dawa's affirmation concerning Ceratostigma, the different identifications, synonyms and images remain very puzzling. There are two images in the Medical Thangkas : (28_089) for a'u rtse'am bya pho rtsi rtsi, mentioning 2 types (sngo ser gnyis) and showing a herbaceous plant with 2 distinct flower types, one of which might come close to an Impatiens sp. (28_090) shows a sub-shrub for bya pho rtsi rtsir 'bod pa skyu rug ma, certainly Ceratostigma (very close to the genus Plumbago, with Plumbago zeylanica as an old indian medicinal plant, tsi tra ka). a'u rtsi is given as synonym for a bhi sha (Fritillarie) in the Shel gong, whereas 'Jam-dpal in the Eye Ornament states that it is not. Yet, his illustration for bya pho tsi tsi / a'u tsi recalls much a fritillarie (but is not proposed as an identification). For the similar sounding kadma bhara / kan da bhara there is no further information.
