Mica (Potassium aluminium silicate) is the term for a large group of sheet silicates. Muscovite is derived from the term 'Muscovy glass', a sheet mica from the Muscovy province in Russia. Old names are Cat Silver and Lapis Specularis (stone mirror, = rdo me long). Lepidolite is another mineral of the mica groupe (mindat.org).
The indian name abhraka denotes mica, but also talc (wisdomlib.org)
