4. Otochilus lancilabius Seidenf. (Orchidaceae) (Wangchuk 2011 Bhutan)
5. Dendrobium nobile Lindl. (Orchidaceae) (Wangyal 2020). Synonym : ma nu se shing (Drungtso 1999)
6. Iris dichotoma Pall. (Iridaceae) Vesper iris (Molvray 1988 G,P). Cited from northern sources.
7. Iris domestica (Iridaceae) Leopard lily (Molvray 1988 H). Cited from northern sources.

The synonym uśīra is a name still used in India for the Vetiver. The Shel gong concords with further common synonyms in Dash and a description of scented roots and mentions three types without much detail. Modern tibetan authors identify epiphytic orchids, mostly Dendrobium spp. Russian sources propose Iris spp. All plants proposed have more or less scented roots.
