Reported name chu rtsi g.yung ba. chu ma rtsi or chu rtsi is identified with rhubabrb species, but the illustrations of the black and white chu ma rtsi in the Medical Thangkas and in 'Jam-dpal may well depict 2 Polygonaceae, but their architecture and leaves don't resemble a rhubarb species.

It grows on the mountains in the shade, it's leaves resembles those of tha white willow. The stalks are red, having white knots, and the white flowers are in dense clouds. The red tips reminds a deer's horn.
