1. Cotoneaster tenuipes Rehder & E.H.Wilson (Rosaceae) Slender cotoneaster (Wangyal 2020). Reported name tshar bu.
2. Cotoneaster acuminatus Lindley. (Rosaceae) Cotoneaster sp. (Dawa 2009). Reported name tshar pa shing dkar po.
3. Pyracantha crenulata (D.Don) M.Roem. (Rosaceae) Nepalese White Thorn (Dawa 2009)
4. Cotoneaster multiflorus Bunge (Rosaceae) Showy cotoneaster (Wangyal 2020). Reported name tshar nag.
5. Cotoneaster adpressus Bois (Rosaceae) Creeping cotoneaster (Wangyal 2020). Reported name tshar leb.
6. Cotoneaster microphyllus Wall. ex Lindl. (Rosaceae) Small leaved cotoneaster (Boesi 2014, Dawa 2009). Reported name tshar leb. Synonyms : gram 'byar, brag 'byar, re ne (Dawa 2009). Dawa 2009 has the herbaceous Portulaca oleracea for tshar leb, but text and the printed image correspond to a woody Cotoneaster species.

There are 3 types, tshar dkar one of the lower valleys with red bark. tshar nag with spines, from which the wood is used to make handles of hammers and axes. And tshar leb, growing on rocks in the highlands.
