Ryan has been living in and travelling the greater Indian Sub-Continent since 1998.  Currently living in Kathmandu, he is a student and intermittent teacher at the [[Rangjung Yeshe Institute]] Shedra, the [[Centre for Buddhist Studies at Kathmandu University]].
