Member of the branch of the Gya (rgya) clan descending from [[Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje]]'s second eldest brother.  The son of dbon stag. Drupka Senge Sherab  was the fourth of the '[[Incomparable Nine Lions]]' (mnyam med seng ge dgu) important in the early history of the 'Brug pa Bka' brgyud pa school.
