བཀའ་རམས་པ།

one who has passed the highest exam in metaphysics. (JV)

one who has passed the highest examination in a philosophical college (mtshan nyid grwa tshang). Syn 1) (bka' rab 'byams pa). a scholar learned in all the teachings. 2) one who has passed the highest examination in a philosophical college at monastery. (RY)
