DharmaDictionary.net aims to be:[edit]
- a dictionary of current usage
- a record of the recent and present-day Tibetan Buddhist teachers and translators involved in bringing the Dharma into the English language
- list of current translators & Translation groups
- a site for current shedra schools in international locations
- a compilation site for dictionaries and glossaries between Tibetan and English
- a lotsawa website of Resources and Translation-tools
- a database of common Quotations in Tibetan literature
- a place to include glossaries, indices and other backmatter material of old and new translation works
- as non-sectarian and open-minded as possible
- available on the Internet for free use by everyone
- dynamic and growing, rather than static and stagnant
- a lotsawa-network with a database of translations of major and minor texts
