Barom Darma Wangchuk (’ba’ rom dar ma dbang phyug), (1127-1199), established The Barom Kagyu lineage ('ba' rom bka' brgyud). It was continued mainly as a family lineage. One of its famous early masters was the “Protector of Beings” Tishi Repa (’gro mgon ti shri ras pa).
