[[Geshe Chekawa]] ([[1101]] - [[1175]]) is the author of the famous [[Lo Jong]] text called [[Seven Point Mind Training]]. He belonged to the so called [[Kadampa]] tradition, the second wave of Buddhists in Tibet that was founded by the Indian master [[Atisha]]. According to the tradition he was inspired by the [[Lo Jong]] text called [[Eight Points for Developing the Good Heart]] by [[Dorje Senge]], especially the last eight verse, and travelled to meet [[Dorje Senge]]. However, [[Dorje Senge]] had passed, and he received the instructions from [[Sharawa]].

Geshe Chekawa (1101 - 1175) is the author of the famous Lo Jong text called Seven Point Mind Training. He belonged to the so called Kadampa tradition, the second wave of Buddhists in Tibet that was founded by the Indian master Atisha. According to the tradition he was inspired by the Lo Jong text called Eight Points for Developing the Good Heart by Dorje Senge, especially the last eight verse, and travelled to meet Dorje Senge. However, Dorje Senge had passed, and he received the instructions from Sharawa.
