[[Jamgon Kongtrul]] states in his ''All-Encompassing Knowledge'': "[[Mahayoga]] emphasizes means [[upaya]], the [[development stage]], and this view that liberation is revealed through growing accustomed to the insight into the nature of the indivisibility of these superior two truths".  The superior two truths in [[Mahayoga]] are purity ([[ka dag]]) and equality ([[btang snyoms]]).
