Poetic Description by Khenpo Ngawang Palzang[edit]

Among the secret of all secrets, the Seventeen Tantras of the Luminosity,
The Tantras of Self-Manifest, Self-Liberated, and the Tantra of No Letters—
Just like a sovereign and his close retinue assembled,
May I embrace the essence of the tantras in my mind with perfect recollection
And use courageous eloquence to shower every being with the rain of Dharma.

The Tantra of Studded Jewels, the Mirror of the Heart,
The Tantra of the Mirror of the Mind of Vajrasattva,
May I embrace this threefold essence of the tantras, lucid and exceptional,
Within my mind with perfect recollection,
And use courageous eloquence to shower every being with the rain of Dharma.

The Tantra of the Garland Pearls, the Tantra of Perfected Lion,
The Tantra of Graceful Auspiciousness—
May I embrace these three within my mind with perfect recollection
And use courageous eloquence to shower every being with the rain of Dharma.

The single summary, the Self-Existing Tantra of Perfection,
The Tantra of the Pointing-out Instructions that perfects the visions from within,
The Tantra of the Sun and Moon in Union, victorious in the battlefield of wisdom,
The Tantra of the Pile of Gems to mend deficiencies,
And the two segments of the Tantra of the Shining Relics,
May I embrace them within my mind with perfect recollection
And use courageous eloquence to shower every being with the rain of Dharma.

The Tantra of the Blazing Lamp, the total liberation,
The Tantra of the Sixfold Spheres, resemblance of the heart,
The Root Tantra, the Dra Talgyur, the secrecy in itself,
And then the Tantra of the Wrathful Black that crushes all adversity—
May I embrace them within my mind with perfect recollection
And use courageous eloquence to shower every being with the rain of Dharma.
