Purāṣa¦ (so ed. with mss.), n. of a former Buddha: Mv i.137.13. Senart's note rightly expresses doubt of the reading, which he says could at best represent Vedic Purāṣāḍ (once in RV). I suggest that Purāṇa is apt to be the true reading.
